Privacy Policy

Overview

SATisfied Prep (“SATisfied Prep,” “we,” “us”) is a study tool for SAT® practice. This policy explains what personal data we collect, why we collect it, and the choices you have. We aim to keep this honest and limited to what the product actually does.

Account data

You can browse and practice questions without an account. If you create one, we use Supabase Auth to manage sign-in. Depending on how you sign up, we store:

• Your email address (for email/password sign-up), and an authentication record managed by Supabase.
• If you sign in with Google, we receive your email address and basic profile identifier from Google to create and recognize your account. We do not receive your Google password.

We use this data solely to authenticate you and associate your saved progress with your account.

Practice data we store

When you are signed in, we save your practice activity so we can show your progress and weakest areas. This includes:

• Attempts — the question, the answer you selected, and whether it was correct, with a timestamp.
• Sessions — groupings of attempts into a practice set.
• Marked questions — questions you flag for review.

If you are not signed in, this progress is not saved to our database.

Cookies and sessions

We use cookies that are necessary to keep you signed in. These are set by Supabase Auth to maintain your session. We do not use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies.

How we use your data

• To authenticate you and keep you signed in.
• To save and display your practice history and your progress dashboard.
• To operate, maintain, and improve the service.

What we don't do

• We do not sell your personal data.
• We do not share your data with third parties for their own marketing.

We rely on service providers to run the app — notably Supabase (database and authentication) and Google (only if you choose Google sign-in). They process data on our behalf to provide these functions.

Deleting your account

You can request deletion of your account and associated practice data at any time. Email us at support@satisfiedprep.com from the address on your account and we will delete your account, your attempts, sessions, and marked questions.

Children's privacy

SATisfied Prep is intended for students preparing for the SAT. If you are under the age of 13, please use the service with the involvement of a parent or guardian.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as the product evolves. When we do, we will revise the “Last updated” date above.
